I'm an average looking girl and my life is normal and I find it strange that I always seem to attract artistic guys. I've had a musician, a poet, a painter etc. Its not that I don't like it. In fact I do enjoy talking to these intellectual men. I'm just quite clueless as to what it is in me that they find appealing. Here's a bit about myself: I'm girlie,i like dressing up nice, i love pink, my friends tell me I have child-like habits sometimes and I'm sporty. See?Now does that appeal to artists?

I'm not attracted to you and i'm an artist..
mysterious, outgoing, mature, and sexy people attract me..

Mystery is much sexier and more artisic then childlike preppy girliness.

Simple, you let them know your there. They crop everyone else out of the picture and only see you. For some reason they seem to like your diverse personality. It's not those perky pretty ones who always goes out with the most popular guy and ignore the others they want. You give yourself to them. I have never noticed this girl at school, I never thought I would like her. She isn't really a beauty queen and plus she was my friend. But when she spoke, it was like someone punched me in the stomach. She has such a way with words and she is so smart.

Also remember, opposites attract.

How would anyone on this site be able to answer this question for you? People aren't solely attracted to superficial characteristics such as "girlie" and "sporty" - so really you have provided nowhere near enough information for an intelligent answer to your question, as the possibillities and variables are endless
...or perhaps are you looking for some sort of virtual 'pat on the back?' Well, good job I guess...apparantly you're very interesting and intriguiging - in order to attract such deep-thinking, artistic people...bra - freakin - vo.

I'm an artist though I can't speak for them. I guess they just like somebody who is not boring, or maybe you're the type that understands a lot of people like us, artists. We are often misunderstood by many and our actions and thinking if not different, defies other's. And yes we like sensible people and not just the ordinary.

Just think of it as a complement.

Yes.

You may be somewhat artistic yourself, possibly more from the appreciation side. I suspect you are highly intelligent, and that makes a difference.

Years ago, when I dated, I found it difficult to enjoy dating a woman who was not highly intelligent. We ran out of things to talk about quite quickly. I finally concluded I should never date any woman who couldn't carry on a good conversation.

I'm artistic, and I believe--were I available, and were I dating, and were I young enough--I'd be happy to date you.

You sound cute, maybe that's why.

You sound like someone that inspires THOSE TYPES. I used to do the same. I was like an ACTOR magnet. I've dated actors, models, personal trainers, directors, writers, singers, producers, you name it! I guess they like cute girls.

By artistic you must mean gay. From the description it fits the bill. Many gay men before coming out to friends and family find a female friend and latch onto them, My guess is that you provide a feeling of comfort and safety that would appeal to insecure closeted gay men. Embrace them as friends but be careful before entering relationships of a romantic nature.
