If a convicted felon has weapons such as swords and daggers inside their house is that illegal, and can someone provide me with a link to see proof of the legality or non legality of this.

There is no law that I can find in the Code of Virginia that I can find that restricts the possession of a sword or dagger within a residence.

However, it is illegal to take the dagger (codefied as either a dirk or a bowie knife depending on it's length) off of your property while it is concealed.

I have attached the relevant links of the Code of Virginia that I found. I hope that this helps your research. Good luck!

sword are only illegal if they are sharp. if the blade is dull, it is a souvenir, or a show-piece.
