that's the sanest thing i've heard all day.
when you sacrifice your mind and soul to an invention of man, you know you need help
and if we didnt spend so much goddamn time fighting over wheter allah or buddah can save my soul, maybe we'd actually get something done in the world
god is dead
and no one cares
if there's a hell
i'll see you there

With some non-profit denominations, it is 100% forced brainwashing as when a person joins a religion shortly after birth.
With other non-profit religions, it is really a choice where a young person accepts an altar call/whatever and chooses voluntarily to join a religion.
Some religions are determined by the laws of a nation, for example, the official religion of Saudi Arabia, a country, is Islam so one has to be a Muslim. At the Vatican, Italy, the official religion of the Vatican, a country, is European Catholicism; one has to be a Catholic.
Some non-profit religions are very harsh to persons who think democratically, for example, Islam, Mormonism, and European Catholicism all publicly excommunicate and badmouth members who do not completely agree with their infallible dogmas.
All religions are a form of mind control.

No. Religion gives guidance to think right way. Croocked way of thinking can't lead a person any where.
Look at all the stuipid questions atheists ask on this forum because they refuse to believe on God and His Religion.

yes, I believe so. I was raised catholic and never thought I would not believe until tonight. Just reading how women are downgraded in such horrible way. Knowing this was not something I choose to believe in, I researched Buddhism for the 20th time. Now I feel at peace.

Yes, the world would be so much more peaceful without organized religion.
I do believe that surrendering oneself to religion is a way of abdicating responsibility for thinking. One can concentrate on what a book says and lean on that, as well as the other people who believe, and not think for themselves. It's easier... MUCH easier... to just believe.
I wish I could turn off my brain and do it... but I just can't.

God is here with us, people start using religion in all different manners, i honestly believe many use it to confuse others, God is our Father and Our Creator, that is the only truth, we need to be prepared, Jesus told us to be prepared, we cannot get ourselves all caught up in false teachings or lies, we must learn the truth and open our eyes. Don't you wanna know and be assured your place in Heaven, you don't get it by killing or doing any kind of works, It is only through Jesus Christs sacrifice for us out of Mercy and Love. If someone tells you any different they are either lying straight out, or they don't know and they are guessing.

Yes it would, every person has their own way of seeing things. I feel you are following the order of someone when you commit to a religion. You're following their ways, when it comes to the end you will be judge by yourself.

I actually don't believe in religion, just in God. I have not
been to church in ages but when I decide to go again, it
will be one of those like the Peace Church we have here,
no denomination.

I am a Christian. But I do not consider Christianity a religion but a relationship with Jesus.
Anything other than that is for Satan. He is said to control people with his lies.
Just so you know, I am very original. I may be the only one to go to the Great wall of China and tell Chinese people,
Welcome to China.
I do a lot of things like this.
