About 2 1/2 months ago I started getting very bad stomach cramps in the lower and left and right regions of the stomach. In the past 2 months I have passed 5 stolls with blood on them. ( The last one was about 6 weeks ago)

My pains have stopped cramping and have now moved to sharp/ almost pinching/ yet sometimes crampy pains.

I have had several bloackages.
I always feel as if I NEVER have to go to the toilet and I can go days without having to go. I dont have to strain to go either, everything comes easily.

Recently my stools have been thinner then usual. Just a bit thinker then the average pencil. Sometimes I get A REALLY bad pain like up the bum hole (sorry to be so gross)

I AM SEEING MY GASTRO AT THE MOMENT.

I very much doubt it was bowel cancer as I am only 14. I was looking on the internet and have worried myself!

Does this sound like Bowel Cancer?? OR something else??

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Female/ 14 years old

What I have stated for your other question is the answer for this question also. so i have repeated it for your reference and Acton. What you have explained may or many not be Bowl cancer - It is very difficult to tell you what it is by just hearing you. You need to be seen by an Gastroenterologist or Oncologist. Most probably it may not be cancer but you can not take chance. so please have it evaluated by the expert. However please note the symptoms of Bowel cancer as under (it is medically called as collateral cancer) -

Many people with colon cancer experience no symptoms in the early stages of the disease. When symptoms appear, they'll likely vary, depending on the cancer's size and location in your large intestine.

Signs and symptoms of colon cancer include:

* A change in your bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation or a change in the consistency of your stool for more than a couple of weeks
* Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
* Persistent abdominal discomfort, such as cramps, gas or pain
* Abdominal pain with a bowel movement
* A feeling that your bowel doesn't empty completely
* Weakness or fatigue
* Unexplained weight loss

Blood in your stool may be a sign of cancer, but it can also indicate other conditions. Bright red blood you notice on bathroom tissue more commonly comes from hemorrhoids or minor tears (fissures) in your anus, for example. In addition, certain foods, such as beets or red licorice, can turn your stools red. Iron supplements and some anti-diarrheal medications may make stools black. Still, it's best to have any sign of blood or change in your stools checked promptly by your doctor because it can be a sign of something more serious. -

The only one that can answer this is your gastroenterologist.. Which you say you are seeing.

To put your mind at a little rest, I will take a wild guess that this is not cancer. You say you saw blood, which I assume was red. Upper digestive cancers and / or bleeds come out black and tar-like.

I would ask your doctor to look into Crohns disease and IBS. You should also ask about a colonoscopy, but that will be up to your doctor and his initial findings. They are not bad anymore. You should also be ready to discuss with your doctor your diet and any and all stress in your life. Its amazing how just a little stress can affect you the way you are describing.

Bottom line is to let your doctor work this up for you and relax.

Hope you are well soon.

its a very rare if not imposschance that its a colon cancer (thats the right term sweetie)

there could be a lot of factors thats causing you this, from your descriptions you could have a low water level in you body, were you drinking pills b4 this symptoms appear because like aspirin, it causes bleeding in your stomach and some diet pills causes hard stools. just wait for the lab results but relax, im almost sure its not cancer. PRAY.
