Because it gives me an hour out of time with the world to think about things and channel my thoughts into why, what, who and try to discover any answers to why am i here, what am i doing and who am i. It gives you time to put aside the clamour of life and give you peace to think.

I kinda have to, I'm the pastor.
Nah, just kidding. To me, I do church all week. When I'm with "the church" that is, other Christians. We hang out together to build each other up. To get equipped for this life we're in by studying the manual, and coming together as a team. Sometimes it's just to have fun, play a game of fooseball, or watch a movie.

But I guess you're asking about Sunday morning. I'd say to study the Bible together, to worship together, and to be changed a little bit more into the image of Jesus as a result.

I enjoy hearing others tell of how God has changed their lives and is still helping them. That encourages me in my walk with God. I go because collective prayer, singing and worship is so much more powerful. I go because I love to hear the Word of God taught and thereby gain new insights and truths to apply and to rejoice in.
It is a refuge for me from the sinful environment of the world that we must live in although we are not of this world we must still be a light in this world. I love going to church. I'm also glad that we can commune with God any time, any place and He will meet us then and there because we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Never. Assuming god exists, why would he hang out in church all the time. I don't recall any stories of Jesus spending much time inside the church. Didn't he have some harsh words for the Jews hanging on the corner preaching? My we've come such a long way in 2,000 years!

The Church, we can say it is church where the people gather together with a a single heart to glorify Jesus, for the all blessings he pour upon us. If you can read this believe it is the mercy by God. So give glory to him

Haven't been to church in a while. However, I would like to go to a Unitarian-Universalist service sometime soon. I would like to attend a service there because I've read that they are welcoming of different faiths and even atheist and non-religious people, as well as the humanitarian aspect from what I read about them.

I don't go to church anymore, to much confusion, and tired of following up under someones' else order. Learn how to forgive and love everyone.

Worship, Spiritual Awakening, Fellowship, Being with my family in God, We need this, we are created with the thirst, and going to Church helps, We all need God in our lives, we go there, but the real church is already in us, since The Holy Spirit dwells within us when we ask Jesus Christ into our lives, God is with us all of the time.

For the social connection and to meet people who believe things similar to what I believe. I can worship my Gods in my own home and back yard. I don't need a fancy building to do that.
