It's a case of the squeekiest wheel gets the oil first.

If we built a wall on the south border, the news would be all over it for maybe 2 years tops... then someone will mention the north border and history will for the most part repeat it self.

As human beings, we tend to be pack animals, so to speak.

If a few of us talk about something for long enough everyone will talk about that and for the most part forget about any thing else.

It's not that humans are short sighted, it's more of a throw water on the most appearent biggest flame.... instead of looking at everything and spreading the water out over the back yard and front yard.

In short, there are too many problems to fix and no one with enough power to do anything, willing to address the problems in a real way.

This Iraq thing started out with chasing Bin laden in Afganistan.... then.. almost immediatly it was iraq... now they want us to go into Iran??? WHAT? So, tell me, what is really going on here.

This one is so easy a person with a half a brain could figure it out.

Almost all of the illegals cross the southern border getting into the US. In fact, the southern border is where terrorist would cross the border. Mr. Bush on the other hand would rather allow illegals to cross the border even if it means terrorists would get in.

You plug the big hole first then move on to other holes. It is called cost effective strategy.

Illegals coming from the south cost the United States millions of dollars in health care, schooling welfare, lost jobs, loss of the American atmosphere, Loss of the American language, and so many other overt and "in-your-face" changes that Americans don't want to see any increase in Hispanics.
If an Iraqi or some other "rag-head" comes down from Canada he will probably be noticed right away. Especially if a group of them try to live somewhere.
I don't want a stone wall between Mexico and the US, I'd love to see an electric fence similar to the "Bug-Zapper" though.

There are far fewer illegals crossing into the US from Canada than from Mexico. Currently there are some 3-million illegal Mexican immigrants in the US and more coming every day.

You are intentionally turning your back on the vast numbers of illegals coming from the south, and trying to act like the damage is the same from both sides when you know that it isn't. You don't treat a hangnail when you have a broken leg.

We surely could build a wall at Watford, to maintain the southerners the place they belong ingesting their flat beer and ingesting their jellied eels (god they are poor issues) and by utilising the way it somewhat is York no longer york and you do not have extra suitable purchasing down south its in simple terms extra high priced.

I just don't see 10% of Canada's population trying to come over the border like 10% of Mexico's has. Did I miss something?

More trash floats across the southern border

Because 20 million Canadians have not crossed over.

I do agree that we should monitor the Canadian border for terrorism threats.

It's strictly a number thing.
Numbers don't lie, plus Canadians generally have more respect for America and Americans.
