My boyfriend just got a kitten, it's a boy.
He asked me for help to name it.
Any suggestions?

gizmo or we call him buddah or bear
and tiggi short for tigger and tiger we couldnt decide
or u could call him sparkle ,kimba,shadow,sonic

I try to keep an open mind and think maybe the cat has a preference. I try many names and narrow down the ones responded to to with interest. Do this at least the next day to check for consistancy. If several names interest your cat, pick your favorite.
One of my cats liked p sounds and the other likes ff which both have air puffs. I am sure the cat will learn whatever name you choose.

Dear Sarah,
My family, has named kittens, after the letters of the Greek alphabet. When Princess, a wild kitten we adopted, had a litter of three, we named the kittens, Alpha, Beta and Gamma. We named another wild kitten, we adopted, Delta. Currently we have two cats, Epsilon and Lilly.

Does the kitten have a name already? When I adopted my kittens they already had names. I found it easier to just keep the names, they already respond to the names.

LOL, my friend just got a male kitten and named it, Doggie. (which I find amusing.) All cats have a distinct personality, so your boyfriend should watch your new kitten and pick up on its traits and go from there.
