Is God punishing me now by making every literalist on R&S answer my question?

God is not a "Punishing God"

No. God actually blessed us by making some religious people so very pious at times that it makes them look ridiculous at best, and just plain "mean" at worst.
I do not "look down" on people who believe. At the same time I would consider it the "Christian thing to do" for them not to force their views upon me.

God is not punishing anyone. God did not make religious people. People chose to be religious. He gave us all free will!
