I just bought a new grill and was thinking about trying the beef brats and I was wondering if they were good. I've never tasted one before so I just have a few questions.
1. Do they taste like breakfast sausage or hotdogs?
2. I was wondering if they were seasoned?
3. Are the pork ones better than the beef?
4. Are they salty?

1) Neither-different seasoning than b-fast sausage, spicier than hotdogs.
2) Yes.
3) Individual preference.
4) Sausage is cured meat-all of it is salty.

Every month I buy Johnsonville Beef Brats and they are to die for! They are a hefty bigger than a hotdog sausage. They have a natural skin and taste soooooo goooood. I like them much better than breakfast sausage or hotdogs. You'll impress your people at your grill party! Excellent choice!

Here in Germany there are more flavours to bratwursts then any particular style that I remember in America. Some taste like breakfast sausage, and some taste like Italian sweet sausages. The main flavour components would be sage, thyme, and parsley. But there are a myriad of other types of sausages here.
