I blew my index and middle finger off with a 2 inch mortar....I can do everything anybody else can .......Would this disqualify me???

it depends on what hand...i have a friend that lost his left index finger from the knuckle up and the tip of his middle finger and he was able to still reenlist and train since he was able to prove that he could still do his job without the finger...you need the right index to fire the weapon...good luck!

The fact that you where playing with a 2 inch mortar should disqualify you

The index finger is a vital digit, when having to strip and assemble weaponry, I would imagine that alone is enough to bar you from joining the military.

I saw a guy in boot camp and he was Missing his Trigger finger.

I don't know for sure but what I do know is that they are very picky about any disability whatsoever. Your best bet is to just talk to a recruiter.

yes you shouls be able to because my uncles friends cousin did when he had one finger missing so ye good luck!!!

Yes, some one in my unit was waved so he could get in.... just don't tell them how you did it.
