In my opinion, this doesn't make sense, nor does anything else in the bible, but I digress.

It relies upon on what you recommend by potential of "help." in case you recommend costs that say it rather is a sturdy component, you will locate none. in case you recommend costs that enhance questions with reference to the legitimacy of discriminating against homosexuals, I consistently element to Matthew 7:3-5 (the admonishment to be greater worried approximately fixing our very own faults than choosing on others) and Matthew 7:12 (the Golden Rule), neither of which seems to be practiced by potential of the present homophobic branches of Christianity.

I'll agree with a fair amount of what David M is saying except the description of what an abomination is must have slipped through the cracks there!
Loathe means hate last I checked. That puts homosexuality in with the list of things God hates albeit not in the Psalms quotation. Funny thing though that many homesexuals are guilty of more than one of these things on the list of detestables!?? (my now homosexual friend LOVED pitting people against one another just like they do here at Y.A. whenever they can then sit back and mock and laugh at them.)
A)
"Abomination \A*bom`i*na"tion\, n. [OE. abominacioun, -cion, F. abominatio. See Abominate.]
1. The feeling of extreme disgust and hatred; abhorrence; detestation; loathing; as, he holds tobacco in abomination.
2. That which is abominable; anything hateful, wicked, or shamefully vile; an object or state that excites disgust and hatred; a hateful or shameful vice; pollution.
Antony, most large in his abominations. --Shak.
3. A cause of pollution or wickedness.
Syn: Detestation; loathing; abhorrence; disgust; aversion; loathsomeness; odiousness. --Sir W. Scott.

It was part of Judaic Law, The Law was the religion and the religion the law. To sin was to not only have a transgression against god but to also break the law of "Gods people". That is why they stoned people, it was their form of justice as told by God to Moses. If a person was caught stealing they would be punished according to the Law and the Religion. If a person was caught in an act of homosexuality they were punished according to the law and the religion. Do you see ?

1 corinthians 6:9-11 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
this is the bible verse that calls it out as it is. they are known as offenders of what is right. does that mean they are evil? ofcourse! we all are evil...look at the other offenses listed;
sexually immoral=heterosexual offenders (i.e. any sexual acts outside of marriage), idolators=those who make anything more important than God or put before God, adulterers=those who indulge in sexual relationships other than spouse, male prostitutes/homosexual offenders=any man/man or woman/woman sexual relationship or romance,
and then the others... thieves, the greedy, drunkards, slanderers, and swindlers. but that is not the whole list.
yes...living a homosexual lifestyle is a sin. just as much as stealing for a living is...and being heterosexually active and unmarried. sin is sin and keeps you from going to heaven.

The Bible states that God made woman for Man that man should not be lonely, The Bible tells that intimacy should be confined to marriage between a husband and a wife, lust is a sin, When we are married to our spouse we are to enjoy being with them, we become one.

Yeah, but it depends on how you look at it.
It says so in Leviticus (18:22) in the Old Testament, but if you're going to follow that, then you'd better be prepared to not shave, eat shellfish, or work on the sabbath lest you be murdered with stones.
Paul writes as much in his letters (1 Corinthians 6 and Romans 1), but Paul wasn't Jesus, and had never even met the man he claimed to be representing. I don't find his opinions to be any more plausible, especially in light of all the other rhetoric he spewed forth.
One thing I always have noticed, however...is that Jesus never said anything at all about homosexuality. Zero, zip, nada. He had that great phrase, "neither do I condemn thee" and an awful lot to say about hypocrites, but nothing at all about homosexuals. Kinda telling, isn't it?

According to the Bible (not a follower, so don't ask me for which verse) it refers to lying with another man as you would a woman as an abomination.

Doesn't the story of the homosexual people of Prophet Lat and their destruction by Angels of God teach us that homosexuality is an unforgiveable sin and its punishment is death?
