OK the whole god thing...
Well some believe that there is an invisible manifistation of a giant white dude in a toga or robe, then theres the thought of aliens being god, and all i can say is God is whatever makes you feel safe and protected. Me personally I dont believe that theres a giant in the sky who watches everything we do, cause lets face it, We are pretty boring unless you count the wars which is the only thing entertaining here. But if he does watch then hes probably tired of that to. And since its nothing but reruns I think he just gave up on us. Remember GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELFS. So he is pretty much gone. OR AT LEAST TAKING A WEED NAP. CAUSE THIS PLANET IS SERIOULY F'D UP.

That is a question which each person must answer for themselves.

Food for thought:

We all have the ability to consider the consequences of our actions, both to ourselves and to others. Based on these observations, we can decide for ourselves whether something is right or wrong. These observations are what we call morals or values.

For example, we all know that it is wrong to kill. We know this because we would not want someone else to kill us.

So if we choose not to kill, does it really matter whether it's because WE believe it's wrong, or because "God said so"?

Whether God exists or not, the values remain the same. The golden rule. Treat others the way you wish to be treated.

Whether you are accountable to god, or to your own sense of right and wrong, the answers should be the same.

If believing that God does or doesn't exist changes your opinion of whether something is right or wrong, tread carefully. You might be about to screw something up, seriously. (Whether God exists or not!)

God is one who created this world. Could this world happen by itself without any creator? No it is not possible.

Atheists deny the existance of God. But most of them also
realize at some point of their lives that they were wrong all along and suddently they become religious.

On this forum all those who express themselves are to my opinion young boys and girls but very few people over forty or fifty years of age. By that age if they do not accept any religion, at least they have doubts on their own denial of religion and no longer are as vocal against God as they were in young age.

There's a Goddess who loves all Her children equally and there is no such thing as sin. Everything you do comes back to you, so do good and be happy.

The Bible is a conglomeration of stories and traditions that have been altered, edited, mistranslated and deliberately changed for about 2,000 years. If there's a grain of truth in it, it would take years of study and learning other languages to find it.

That's it! It's like the android said on the BBC show "Red Dwarf". He was wondering if there really was a heaven for androids. He kept asking, "If there's no heaven for androids, then where do all the calculators go?" Then his human friend tried to console him by saying, "Of course there's a heaven for androids. And it's probably the same heaven as for humans." The android looked at him, surprised, and said. "What? Heaven for humans? Don't be ridiculous! They just say that so you won't go crazy!"

Live your life with pure integrity, and you will not need a god or religion. Believers in god and religion do so because they choose not to always do the right thing and behave correctly . because they know if they do the "believe in god thing", that it is OK to cheat because all you have to do is ask god for forgiveness and you are pardoned. but deep down in your heart, you know you really are a scoundrel. as i said, live your life with integrity and you will live in peace. god and religion is NOT the way to peace. you are just fooling yourself. if the reason you choose to do good because you either fear a god. or want to please a god, then you are good for the wrong reason. you should be good for being good. for your own peace of mind.

Reality is a dream what we wake up from when we enter the spirit realm, and the spirit realm is a dream that we wake up from when we enter the material realm. While experiencing Nature in the material world, we speculate about God.. While experiencing God in the spirit world, we speculate about Nature. Until one has journeyed to the spirit world, it is a matter of faith. Afterwards, it becomes a matter of seeing.

The important thing is what you think about the whole thing; not what I think or what anyone else thinks. If the question burns deep inside you then I think you should consider giving a serious effort into finding out the truth.

probably a made up story which failed to do what it was supposed to because some people went to the extremes and still did bad things.

Without the basic premise of the existence of God, it's very difficult to define "bad", but I suppose that was the idea.
