I will only stay single for as long as I want to. I don't see an end in the near future. But while I am single, I might as well enjoy dating multiple men. =)

1. They are afraid of loneness and want to have one with themselves all the time;
2. Also they need a stable coverage of sex;
3. They don't want to waste time on pick-up and break-up things with too many people so they would rather keep one;
4. They want to have kids and raising kids alone is horrible in this country;

Because people still very much enjoy sex. And not having sex with just one partner is looked down upon in soceity. Plus people want to have a relationship with somebody that is deeper then friendship and different then family. They want to share a mental bond with someone they're physically attracted too

Because society makes people feel as though being single is the Bubonic Plague. I think being single is a gift...shoot. Especially if you look good too...

because being married is great!!! if you don't like the idea of spending 24/7 with your best friend -- you ain't ready for marriage with that person.
