I use two lines of products one for summer one for winter.

Summer is John Frieda the shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and then the Frizz Ease Gel. I apply on wet hair. I find that this product has more hold for humid weather.

Winter is Cristophe both the shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and then the hydrating curl balm. I apply on wet hair. I really like this product cause it doesn't make your hair all hard it a nice soft hold.

Both products can be found at your local Walgreens or CVS or any drug store. Hope this helped.

Matrix has a great line called Curl Life. This is what i use on my daughters hair. It's a little pricey but a little goes a long way! After you shampoo and condition, gently towel dry your hair. Apply the spiraling spay gel. Use several clips to pin sections of your hair loosely up (mainly at the top) After your hair air drys for about 20 minutes, take out the clips. Gently put hair in place. Follow with Curl Life Every Weather Hair spay.

I have thick curly hair and can't get it straight. I don't know if your hair is like mine, but I use garnier frucris hard curl. I take a shower and then apply it to wet hair. I then shake my head and while bending over, crunch my curls. This reduces my frizziness of my curls. Hope this helps.
