China and other countries will always go to the middle east for oil if the price and volume is cheaper.
We have the ability to inovate something new and clean and Marketable. So we will under the lie of Global Warming.
Noone can hate us for being nice to the environment.
Everyone should buy our clean fuel alternative once we bankrupt the middle east with a drop in oil prices when our new power hits the market.
The money has to get a good grip on these alternatives first, then they cut a deal on the balance between international politics, oil, new markets for clean fuel and prices.

Some of the worse polluting areas are due to oil production. Aberbejian has one of the top ten most polluted region, and it's from oil production. Mexico city is also in the top ten list, but I don't know how much oil production has to do with it. It's in the latest National Geographics. I have to find that magazine now.

Precisely where did you come up with that!!?. We essentially rebuilt Russia's oil production infrastructure after the collapse of the Soviet Union, do you think we would give them capacities we don't have ourselves?. China is a black hole of environmental destruction with no end is sight, and I could go on and on. This is just another bash America at any and all costs ( including truth and reality! ). So, go on and on and on, when your trip brings you around to Realityville get off the train.

US is not only producing OIL but also manufacturing billions of 'weapons of mass-destruction' which is leading to pollution of the atmosphere.Other countries are not so rich to manufacture or export deadly waepons to other countries. They are not in a condition to manufacture enough weapons for their own defence.Hence even if their oil production is very high, they cannot pollute the atmosphere.

Till we human being depend on oil, we will keep on doing what we are doing. But necessity is the mother of invention. When we get alternate sources of energy things will change.
As for other countries polluting, it is the US and other western powers doing all the digging and not the country themselves.

its not the production of the oil that causes the pollution its the vehicles that burn it. We have fairly strict laws on factories here in the US, so production is less polluting than others that have no laws pertaining to pollution

I'm afraid you have been misled. Our country has very tough anti- pollution laws in effect to protect the planet. All the country's you mention care less about how they pump their oil and have tremendous pollution issues that will have to be delt with eventually.
