I got a flu shot on Friday - I now have a sore throat, fever and congestion.

you will probably get the flu.. but pretty much it should be the last time you get it... the vaccine contains the virus but it also has the antibodies to fight it.. so like u get a small dose of the flu and your body will build up immunity agaist it.. its what usually happens

I think you should visit your doctor who gave you the flu shot.Ask him why you are getting the sore throat, fever and congestion.

With EVERY vaccine, there is the risk of possible reactions. However, this is the season of the great germ exchange. You could easily have a cold or some other bug that your vaccine doesn't cover.
