Hi,

I am wondering what orphan children do after they growup. Hope orphonage wont support them anymore and they have to take care of themselves. Is there any forum to help those. Please let me know as I wish to help few of them atleast in the best possible way I can.

It depends on what country you are talking about. Many orphanages in developing countries have job training programs, so that children grow up learning a trade and basic business skills, and when they "graduate", they no longer have to rely on charity. The goal is that orphans do not need to rely on the orphanage once they become adults.

If you are in, say, India, contact the local offices for UNICEF, Save the Children, and/or OxFam, and ask them if they work with or know of any orphanages that have job training programs, and tell them you would like to help with such endeavors as a volunteer. Remember that looking for a volunteering opportunity is a lot like looking for a job: you will probably have to contact many organizations and apply many times before you are ultimately chosen.

you and i both know that they cannot get as well paying jobs as us normal well not in a sense "not normal" but ones that didnt go to orphanages
