You also may want to shop around for a vet that doesn't charge a fortune too - for regular annual shots etc.

yes, there is. you can get pet insurance thur petco, starting a $1 for the first month. you can also google it to find a pet insurance company, and you can get a free quote on all the sites.

This is a good question for your vet. Not all vets accept pet insurance. Your vet may accept just a couple, or maybe just one. Google "pet insurance"
