Oh my goodness, you got the big spill following surgery which tells you not to drive, eat a low fat diet and no sex.
OK here it goes......after gall bladder surgery, you usually are taking some type of pain pill for at least a day or 2. We tell you not to drive because you are usually prescribed a narcotic pain reliever which inhibits your reponse and hinders your reflex. We dont want to get sued when you take a Vicodin, drive off in your mini van and kill someone because you are under the influence of a narcotic pain reliever.
Sex. Well the problem there is you dont want someone on top your belly banging the daylights out of you with a fresh abdominal exploration and surgery. Thats because it hurts and you still have at least 3 maybe 4 laprascopic holes in your abdomen. They can become irritated and bleed, but really the sex part of that generic discharge is for the gyne surgeries and thats about it. Hope that helps.
