I would want it to be fun and exciting, so Las Vegas (I'd prefer somewhere else though). I'm not a fan of weddings so I wouldn't want mine traditional. I'm not saying traditional weddings aren't nice, they're just not me.

Heh. I have been debating that in my head forever! Except with me it's a 50 person semi-traditional wedding in a hotel in my home town or a 20(?) person wedding in Vegas.
I think I'm leaning towards the semi-traditional one because it seems like anyone can get married in Vegas. And people almost seem to look down on it. I know when my boss told me that she got married in Vegas, I just figured it was a tiny impersonal quickie wedding, then she told me that there were about 250 people, and it was a huge grand affair at the Venetian.
The Vegas wedding sounds like a lot of fun, but one of my thoughts is that most everyone loves Vegas, and you might have more people wanting to go than you bargain for.
The traditional wedding would be nice because you could make it really personal and have lots of things that mean a lot to you. And I'm sure that everyone that is invited will come.
Ugh. I totally see why you're wanting opinions.

Church for sure - Vegas will always seem tacky and brings up memories of drunkenness not love even if you have a great time. Remember, if you have a real traditional wedding and reception you can always go out and party that night still.

Te big traditional wedding. I'm the typical girl who has always dreamed of the cliched traditional day. I can't imagine my wedding being anything else...although it's not going to be BIG, just traditional and casual/laid back.
Although Vegas WOULD be a lot of fun. It depends on you guys want! Your personalities, your family and friends (if you want them there/included somehow), etc.

My first wedding was a traditional church wedding and I loved it. We renewed our vows for our 10 year anniversary at a chapel in Vegas and it was a riot! Either way, it is all about the "I do's"!

I had a "traditional" wedding, but it was outside in a park then we had a bbq after. My husband and I plan on renewing our vows in Vegas. Personaly I would have regreted skipping out on the tradition. Vegas is fun but you can do that anytime.
