If anyone has tried this, can you tell me what size the packages of broccoli are? Also, doesn't Velveeta come in different sizes?

Broccoli Castlerole
1992 GRAND PRIZE WINNER

10 White Castle hamburgers
4 pkgs. frozen broccoli, chopped
1 box Velveeta® cheese
1 stack Ritz® crackers
1/2 stick butter

Place 10 burgers side by side in a large greased casserole dish. Cook 4 packages of frozen broccoli, drain, and layer over burgers. Melt cheese and pour over broccoli and burgers. Crush one stack of crackers with 1/2 stick of butter sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until topping starts to brown.

Kidding about what?

Sure it will probably make my arteries slam shut, but it sounds darn good to me. I'm also planning to try the White Castle stuffing.

I certainly hope you are kidding!
OK so since you are not kidding-they would mean 4 boxes, but since it is nearly impossible to find the boxes today I would use 2 (16 oz) bags of broccoli-pieces or chopped and probably a 1 pound package of Velveeta (since my recipe-minus the burgers) calls for 3 boxes and 12 oz velveeta

I would venture to guess the typical small boxes. I've never seen this recipe.Dare I say...it certainly sounds interesting?? ;)
