Yes, like I believe in the Law of Gravity- and for the same reason.

1) Yes (though "belief" is a bad choice of words)
2) Because like gravity, atoms, photosynthesis, and other scientific models, I read up on the subject (and that means reading something that's longer than a magazine article) and it makes sense.
99.9% of the people I meet who say "I don't believe in evolution" are people who show that they don't have a grasp on the most basic details of the subject. Some clear (and embarrassing) give-aways are phrases like "It's just a theory" (as if "theory" and "hypothesis" were the same thing in science), "...then why do we still have monkies [sic]", the gross assumption that one has to be an atheist in order to accept evolution, and the same old copy-and-paste arguments from creationist websites.
The remaining 0.1% are, not unlike holocaust deniers, people who have had the details explained to them over and over, to the point where you know they MUST "get it" by now, yet go out of their way to make elaborate rationalizations to defend creationism. There's a difference between being an armchair theologian and doing actual science.

because evolutionists have done so much backpedaling and played so many word games regarding what evolution really is and what it entails, it is hard to know what someone means when they ask whether you believe in evolution or not.
It can cover a wide variety of scientific ideas , some supported by facts and some pure fantasy, but not explaining and keeping it broad can lead those who blindly follow pseudo intelligence to continue believing in the fantasy.
It amazes me that there are still textbooks used in the public school systems that show human and animal embryos as looking exactly alike though we know now that that is false, there are still textbooks that show the old Darwinian pictures of man evolving from an ape, subtle and bold things to suggest the very things evolutionists will argue today "you just don't understand how it works" yet this is what is being taught from an elementary level regarding how it works.
I know that selective breeding can breed in and out desired and undesired characteristics, this is due to recessive and dominant genes- theis is a concept outlined even in the Bible. There is clear evidence of this and clear scientific data to show exaclty how it works- you call it micro evolution- whatever it is, no matter how much breeding you do, the species remains the same, a dog is a dog is a dog, and no matter how much breeding is done it is still a dog.
What there is absolutely no proof of, and evolutionists are to proud and haughty?? too ignorant?? too what??? to admit , is any species evolving from one species to another, there is no proof whatsoever of several species evolving from on common ancestor- this is all theory and speculation based soley on assumptions. The "facts" just do not support reality and science has only scratched the surface of the vast and infinite amounts of knowledge there is to be learned- how haughty is it to take the extremely limited knowledge we have and make assumptions (and that is all they are is assumptions) about how and where it all came from.
My faith is in the Lord, I believe that He created it all, I cannot assume how it all came together but I can use my common sense to see how some of these so called facts about evolution are just not supported by reality and so far, I have seen many scientific assumptions disproved by reality and further study, but so far, science has not disproved the Bible. You can choose to accept that or reject it , your choice but it does not make it any less reality.

There is proof of evolution, unless you are brain dead. There really isn't proof of God, is there? Don't thump your bible at me, that is not proof. Does that mean I don't believe in God? No! I just don't believe in an anthropomorphic God. But to me, evolution works best if there is an "urge" within life to evolve to a higher level. Evolution seems to work a little too well for merely hit and miss. And dear me, them Laws of Physics sure seem to indicate something of a greater intelligence. Or else the universe would just be chaos. And if something like M Theory turns out to be true, we may be on our way to proving God exists, through science. Science tells us our consciousness is just axioms firing. I find that harder to believe than the existence of a greater intelligence. I don't believe in teaching anything but science in a science class, but I am sick of scientific dogma. Reminds me too much of religious dogma. Let science figure out the finite, and leave the infinite to the esoteric thinkers.

Evolution is the only reasonable explanation for the diversity of life on planet Earth, therefore I support the theory.
(to jim above... if you drop a bowling ball on your foot, you will find that the Newtonian model is hardly "obsolete.")

I don't believe in evolution just like I don't believe in the theory of relativity. What theory means in this case is possible model of how things work. Evolution is a work in progress, we tweak the model as we discover new information. In 100 years, people will look back on quantum physics and evolution in the same way we look back on Newtonian physics, as a useful precursor to our theories but obsolete.

No I dont believe in evolution because no one has answered satisfactorily how can creatures evolve into pairs - a creature cannot evolve into one of a pair since it cannot survive without the services of its complementary pair.

Yes, I believe in evolution. Simply because even in present, evolution was evolving with the creation from procreation. :o)

I accept the theory of evolution as being factually correct, because there is actual physical evidence that supports it.
