Talk to him. tell him you like him. it's not that big of a deal... and once it's over, you don't have all that nasty stress crap to worry about, and you can get on with the new relationship. and even with the slightest chance that maybe he is dating her, he might realize he likes you better since you can talk now. ;)

I would bank on that you're right, they're just trying to piss you off, or buy themselfs some time to get the courage up to talk to him themselfs. Be the bigger person, and don't let it bother you. We've learned (my man and i) that it's the worst thing to do when it comes to relationships, to listen to other people. it does NO good... besides, they could be telling him that you're dating someone else.... so he won't talk to you either. ;) take it in your own hands, girlie. it's worth it.

Good luck!!

Whoever he may be going out with doesn't really matter. All that tells you is that he's actively dating. So what! Let them say what they want. Keep your interest in him and see if you could connect with him anyway. You could make the so-called younger sister, history! And watch who you confide in. Don't tell too much personal stuff to others at work until you know them better, and even then, it all depends. Co-workers are not the same as personal friends!

The sisters want to intimidate you. If these girls are not close, friends go up to the guy and ask him. You could do it in front of one or both of them. If this is not true then the sisters will probably back off. Good Luck

Very, very honestly here: Ask him. Tell him straight out, "They said you're going out with her. I wouldn't have pegged you two as a couple. Are you?" See what he says back!
Then ask him out yourself! :D
IF HE IS: They are warning you to back off.
IF HE IS NOT: They still might be warning you to back off, but they're either pulling your leg to get a rise out of you or they feel threatened!
Good luck. Just remember, you deserve happiness. Go find it!
PS Remember if you do start dating him, and that one's sister does like him, it's going to probably cause an uproar at your job.

It's possible that the younger sister likes the guy so they are just telling you that so you'll back off...

If you've openly expressed interest in this guy, they're trying to make you back off. It's possible that this girl really is dating him and things aren't going well, so she doesn't want to worry about him straying. It's also possible that she's after him and doesn't have him yet, and again doesn't want competition.

Why don't you ask the guy you like.... or tell the girl that is supposed to be dating him that you did something with him, see how she likes it.
