I have my doubts that this will ever happen. The rich and powerful people in society probably have no more desire to be chipped than the rest of us, and they have a huge influence on public policy.

I do think microchipping people is a horrifying idea, though.

If I could make a suggestion, rather than assuming that something as benign as a computer chip will become the mark of the beast, why not study the subject in the bible. A mark in the forehead or hand is mentioned in several places in the bible. If you study these you will find that they are symbolic of "works" (mark in the hand) and "beliefs" (mark in the forehead).

The mark of the beast will have to be visible. The chips will be for tracking people whom don't want to take the mark. If you're a Christian, you won't have to worry about the mark of the beast unless you plan on staying behind. If you are a post-tribber, then you'll be here - for me, I'm bettin on pre-trib. katiefish <><

People said the same thing about barcodes. RFID isn't going to get implanted in our bodies, it's much cheaper to stick them in our debit cards just like they are doing now.
