Since you lied on your interview, you can technically be fired. Exactly why do you need a drivers license, are you going to be a driver?
Next time get your license first.
Good Luck!

Oh what a tangled web we weave......
Better get practicing between now and Tuesday and hope for the best. Your boss probably said that because driving may be part of your job? So you will need to not only know how to drive but drive legally (with a license) to keep the job.
If your boss only asked you to provide a form of identification, you could fess up and say something like you thought he meant ID. When you go to DMV you can get a picture ID instead of a driver's license, if you think it will suffice for your job. Better check to make sure which you need and go from there.

First off, Good luck on your Driving test! :) I hope you do well and pass on your first try!
If things don't work out exactly as planned, maybe you can tell your boss that you meant to say you had your ID or drivers learning permit. It'd be like an honest mistake and they might not think another thing of it.
But in the future, if you notice you said something that wasn't right, try to correct yourself right away, that way they see you're honest or at least trying to be and it looks good on you.
Take care! I hope all goes well for you! :)

Either 1) Get your license as soon as possible in order to avoid any trouble at work, or if that's not possible 2) Depending on your boss either A) Come clean and get your license as soon as possible or B) Quit and start looking for another job.

Better study that test!!!!
you're going to have to drive but that's the easy part of the test.
you can't get out of it and could be fired for lying on an application. You aren't going to have your drivers license in hand on Tues. if you pass anyways, better find an excuse like, you lost it and had to get a duplicate?
Good Luck, study hard

get out of what?
Get out of taking the test? just don't show up...
get out of telling your boss? no luck there, sorry mate. Your employer might need you to drive, and if you have an accident, driving a company vehicle, or worse yet, his personal vehicle, and your'e not licensed, it's likely, the company, or his insurance won't cover the accident, and then he can sue you personally for up the cost of the accident, plus his deductible, plus his premium insurance raise for the next 5-10 years. Plus, you could lose your job.
My advice, either
A: Study for your test, pass it, and don't tell your boss
B: Tell your boss you don't have your license, but you're going to get it this week, and then let him know as soon as you get it.
If you don't do either, and you just avoid it for now, and he asks you to drive, then tell him THEN, as opposed to risking so much for so little.

First off, you are a moron. You LIED to your boss, hopefully to not get a job, and now you think you will fail.
My only suggestion... PRACTICE. Read the book, and practice parallel parking. They WILL make you do it.
And I agree witht he woman who said to stop lying. Now, you've gotten yourself into a big mess.
Stupid.

All you have to do is drive straight, signal, read road signs, and park. That's it. By the way an employer can fire you for lying on your resume, so i wouldn't do it. it just isn't worth it.

I don't think you can.
Most likely your boss will lose trust in you.
It would have been better for you to not lie to him in the first place.
