I want to photograph my child myself this year for our Christmas cards. I was thinking of having her hold an ornament or play with lights. Maybe dressing her in her Santa pajamas too. Any ideas for something cute and kinda simple?

Well for My Daughter I Went To The Dollar Tree Store, And Bought One Of Those Giant Red Stockings, And i Stuck Her Down In it and pulled it up to her arms and took her pictures like that in front of the Christmas tree. It Turned Out Really Cute!

I like your idea - I think it would be cute to put her in her pajamas, sit her in front of the tree, give her lights and ornaments and just snap away. I bet you could come up with some really cute pics.

when my brother was a year old my parents decided to take christmas card pictures on their own. we went to a park and we sort of sat in the nature. If it snows where you live it'd really cool if you can take a picture in the snow...your ideas with ornaments is really good though.
