Worst headache of their life is always a reason to go to the A&E.

Always need to rule out a primary cause, such as meningitis

Definitely get her to a hospital! I've been there with intense pain. They never found anything but at least I went and they took the pain away with pain killers. Could be a migraine or something really serious. They need to do tests to find out.
Don't let her drive. Get a neighbor to take her or call 9-1-1.

Katie,

The best first thing right now is for BOTH you and mom to calm down, hard as that now sounds. A trip to your local hospital emergency room may be needed ASAP, just to rule out anueryisms and find out what IS going on. It's only speculatory--but she also may be at the onset of a migraine headache too. Either way--Mom needs ASAP to be seen by her doctor.

If an immediate trip to the ER is out, try the following until the morning........

Wet her hair with warm soothing water, wring it semi-dry....and have her head lay on your lap as you gently but steadily run your fingers through it, focusing on relaxing her. This works, but is temporary.

As she begins to feel better and calmer, have her take the dosage recommended by an over the counter headache reliver and guide her to bed so she can try and get some sleep.

I'm no medical doctor, but in the morning--if the headache returns--tell Mom to see the doctor ASAP.

Throbbing head pain is generally due to excess liver fire.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases like RA, Back ache, earache etc. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.

These useless drugs have enormous power to create hazardous side effects like liver/kidney failure, ulcer, acidity and lot others.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

Pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds!

It's probably just a migraine or a really bad headache, but if you're scared call an ambulance and take her to the hospital that way you'll feel better.
Im sure it's nothing though, but you never know if it is something serious something has to be done.
I doubt its an anuerism though because she'd be passed out by now.

Here's the thing sweetey -- it COULD be a migraine and they are very very painful and you get sick to your stomach with them. BUT if your mom is in that much distress, crying, etc.....call 911 and let THEM decide what to do. Seriously, what is the worse that can happen? If it's a migraine, they'll tell her (paramedics can even do that when they get there) -- if it's something more serious, you may save her life.....either way -- it's a win-win --- call 911 if she's that bad right now.

Call 911 now, since you are too young to drive. She may have a migraine headache but you have to be sure, so a trip to the ER ASAP is the best thing for your mom. You're a wonderful daughter & your mom is blessed to have you in her life. Hope your mom feels better soon.

P.S. See if a relative or neighbor can drive you to the hospital so you can be with your mom. I doubt that they'll let you go in the ambulance with your mom.

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

Yes, you do have a lower heart rate, and you shouldn't go over 130 beats...that's what my Dr. said. If you want to lower your blood pressure naturally, take CQ 10, and 1 Fish Oil a day works wonders...it did for me.

At the very least I would call a relative or friend of the family and see if they can come over. If she is in such pain that she can't function, it's time to call emergency services.
