Oh, hair grows.
My grandfather used to say "The difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is two weeks."
People generally look pretty good after a haircut. It is just how you feel, like how well you sleep etc, that bothers me the most after a haircut... Be glad she cut it too short, at least you got your money's worth.

Well that's up to you. I usually have long hair and i have cut it short a couple of times. But I seem to like my hair longer though. You just need to find a haircut that will make you look good and a haircut that you will enjoy having. For me right now my hair is half long and short, in others words, it's layered. It's short in the front and long in the back. But whatever works for you is fine. I think older people tend to give haircuts better...

Sweetheart it doesn't make you look fat! Hairstyles are a shape.... there's a lot of hype about having the right one, but it's not going to make you look fat - that's your panic. Put on a black shirt and let it go!
To make it better you can try a few things - obviously a head scarf, bobby pinning it back, gelling it... but if I were you and I had no supplies... I'd curl it to give it life (wrap your hair around anything round and hang out for an hour, it will curl!), then lotion my hands and then very lightly scrunch the ends to give it a nice texture. And if I needed to, I'd flatten my bangs a little to "make me look thinner". :) If you ahve no supplies, again, try holding aluminum over the stove and warming it, then clamping it onto your hair for a sec - maybe by closing a book on it.

the good thing? haircuts grow out! but either tie it back so you cant tell what it looks like, braid it up and pin with bobby pins, or even add a loose headscarf? do the gypsy thing with some dangly earrings and a fringed scarf if you'd rather, that's what i did to hide a monsterous fringed bob... ugh...
and, if you want the really drastic option... you could shave your head!

You could get extensions, though those can be expensive.
Try going to another hairdresser and having them fix it to a better style, one that suits you better than this one seems to. And remember - hair grows, and it'll be longer again in no time at all if you don't keep worrying about it.

uhm so u have longer side bangs?? if so grab those and pin them kinda back and up in a half back. use a cute lil clip to put them up in the back. or..grab up all your hair and scrunch it into a cute lil bun with one clip. if u have a straightner or a flat iron you could grab pieces of hair and slowly twist it up and make your hair flip up...that would be cute.

G'day Liea,
Thanks for your question.
I would see if another hair stylist can improve it. Otherwise, use scarfs and head coverings until it grows.
Regards
