Does anyone think the world is really gonna end in 2012?
If so how?

No. I'm Christian and therefore believe the Bible which states that no one will know when it will happen. It will come like a Thief in the night, etc... (many parables stating we won't know when exist). Why do you think 2012? who says that?

Not exactly. This idea of "2012 = end of world" is based on the Mayan calendar, and the astrological alignment that occurs on that date. It only happens once every 13000 years (or something like that.)
I do believe in astrology, so while I don't think it will cause a end all be all of the world, I wouldn't be suprised to see a shift in global consiousness of some sort, or some vastly new trend to the global community.

No. That is an idiotic prediction made from one little coincidence: The Mayan calendar ends on that date.... apparently half of the world finds it shocking that they actually stopped, and didn't go on for an infinity. Those people will all look like ever greater fools when they still live after 2012.

I hadn't heard this. Where did you get that information? This is a common rumor. The world was supposed to end in 1980, 1992, 1995, and 2001, according to similar rumors. It's an urban legend. Pay it no heed. If the world hasn't ended by now with all the degradation it's suffered, chances are it isn't going to happen in our lifetime.

i think it will end much sooner. i dont go the pagan system. i think there is an interesting phenomonon, but i dont believe they predicted the day the earth will end. the scriptures plainly say the no man knoweth the day or hour. according to the mayans, the world will end on dec. 21, 2012. i think ha satan uses this so people will not worry about repenting for a few more years andsew their wild oats. gotta watch that devil- he is tricky.

It is false prediction of false pastor who is in a false religion. Nobody know the end of the world or earth. It will just come with an instant without expectation. Just get ready for it and in keeping ready, repent for your sins ask forgiveness to God and obey the law of God, obey his teachings in the bible.
