There are some Compresser software available which i know are Winzip and Winrar. comparing these two Winrar is beter for the bigger files. If u installed any of these software, Right Click on the file which u want to Compress then Choose the Send To--> Compressed(Zipped) folder option.
If u want to compress more than one file, Place all the files in a single folder and Zip the folder.
Likewise if u want to open the compressed file, Right click on the zipped file and chose Extract option.

you can compress big files by moving your files in zip folder:
1.right click by mouse button
2.and after select new menu option
3.and in new menu option click compressed(zipped) folder option
4.after making a compressed folder you can copy your file and paste your file in the compressed folder
another method is by buying compressing software.

winrar is best software, you can download it from www.rarlab.com, after installing the software right just click on the file which you want to compress and press add to "filename".rar, simple
