From my own experience, online dating services suck for guys. The girls get dozens of e-mails every day. I haven't had any luck, and I'm not bad looking by the way. Luckily I don't have to worry about that anymore since I met someone, but not on an online dating site.

Why? Are YOU good looking? I find that skeptical coming from the person themself...but to answer your question, I think the main idea of a dating site is for the people to be good looking.

If looks is a thing for you, go to like a social networking site where all the girls are hot but down right dumb, you'll find plenty on like MySpace and the like, just waiting to give it away.

im sure there is but, why would you need it if you feel confident that you are a goodlooking man?
there are plenty of places to meet women
ie- coffee shops, restaurants, parks, blind dates, parties, and the list goes on
if you have self confidence and you go to any of those places man up and say hello to a woman who knows you might exchange phone numbers and things can heat up from there.
