I'm looking for input on construction costs from contractors, check out this link and tell me what you would charge to build this house?

There are a lot of factors that could alter the cost. Do you own the lot? City water or well and how far? Septic or sewer main? Landscaped or not? In the Napa Valley where labor is high and soils are bad it would be a range of about $120,000 to 190,000 for the building alone depending on level of finishes. All work out side the building line would be extra

Don't know about the cost; maybe $200,000.
I would change a few things: I like the kitchen sink by a window as long as it is not on a North or a West wall. The open area from the 2nd floor would be over the living room only and utilize remainder area for more living area. And the mini closet near the washer/dryer would be facing same direction as the w/d instead of toward the hall.

It very much depends on where you live. $100 a square foot is a mid range price though.
