The main difference between first and second round picks is money. The place that a player goes as far as rounds are usually determined by what a team needs, under/upperclassman comparison, stats for themselves and in contrast to players at a different level of play (I-AA, II, and III)at the same position, and injury history. Some players are equal in talent but because of where they played or how many seasons they remained uninjured could determine where they end up.
