I'd order a pizza! Since I normally run around like a "Martha" when company comes. This time I'd definately get out of the kitchen! If I knew in advance He was coming, I'd make something extra special then We'd go for a leisurely picnic!

The same thing I'd do for any guest - I'd make him a lovely meal, put a good movie on the TV and settle down for some good conversation about religion.

I'm Pagan and I don't do anything I'm ashamed of, nor do I think Jesus would be anything but polite and attentive, even if he disagreed with me - though I'd have more in common with him spiritually than most modern Christians.

i have no reason to do anything different, he see's all that i do now, and he knows i love him and try to live as the best christian that i can be, of course i'm not perfect but god knows that no one is, and thats the whole reason of him coming to earth and living a perfect life and dieing for us. so the only thing different i would do if jesus came to lunch at my house is set out an extra place setting. god bless.

Probably nothing, 'cause he knows my heart & he would accept me just as I am, in the bible he told Zaccheus on the spur of the moment in front of all the crowd that he was coming to his house for supper - so if he accepted a cheating tax collector, I know he would accept me & would love to spend time with me. Jesus was always kind to everyone no matter what their problems were.

Assuming the Christian beliefs were real...

I would make the best meal that I could, in recognition of his position. And during lunch, I'd ask him the tough questions that his followers can't seem to answer

After I picked myself up off the floor I would wash His feet, kiss the hem of His garment, tell Him that I love Him and am honoured. Then serve Him the best Lean Cuisine In the freezer. (that's all I have).
Would that not be glorious to open your door to Jesus?

I don't know.
:)
I'd tell him everything I have to eat and give him his choice.
Hmm.....I do that for my husband so I guess I would do nothing different. I believe what you do for others you do for Jesus so.....there really should be no difference. except when I am PMS'ing of course. LOL

I would fall prostrate on the floor weeping at his feet and thank Him so profusely for all He has done for me and for forgiving me of my sins. I would be so overwhelmed that I would just be in awe of Him and He would have to tell me what I should do because I would not know. He would have to take me just as I am. Thankfully, when He returns EVERY eye will see Him and I pray I am ready. Mmm

I would serve him the freshest food I had in the house and the best...a large salad, broiled fish,, bread,,,and a small glass of our best wine...

No french fries and Coke..which is what I usually have with fish....Do you think he knows?
