He does talk to people that believe enough all a test of faith. Hes also been a burning bush.

Do you think if He did show Himself, we would recognize Him?
Or would we say He was crazy for claiming to be the Promised One?
Would we say, naw, that stuff can't happen--nobody can give sight to the blind or make the lame walk, they're just making up stories, it's not scientifically possible.
Or would we see Him as a radical fundamentalist, why doesn't He simply go by church doctrine and follow the traditions?
Would He threaten our sense of righteousness and our sense of control over the world?
Maybe His own glory and righteousness would bring out our own sinfulness all the more, and maybe we'd end up crucifying Him all over again.
Maybe God already HAS shown Himself, and we never even noticed...

1) It is called Faith for a reason. Otherwise it would be called Fact. He wants us to decide
2) Free will. He gave it to us. If he would appear in a God-like way, it would sort of take that away. (well, for a while. Then people would start to say it was a hoax put on by aliens or something LOL)
3) Despite 1 and 2, I still wish he would to some extent. I feel that we have so many problems that I wish he would show up and smack the stupid people in the world (even if that was me) and get us back on track. I fear what would be required for that to happen. I think about the Bible with Sodom and Gamora and wonder what will happen to us. For what our society does seems so much worse.

Man is mortal and the Divine is immortal. In the mortal human being, there is the immortal Divine Spirit. In the field of the heart, there is a Kalpatharu (wish-fulfilling tree). The tree is surrounded by bushes and briars. When these are removed, the tree will become visible. This wish-fulfilling tree is within each person, but it is encompassed by the bad qualities in man. When these qualities are eliminated, the celestial tree will be recognised. This is the Sadhana (spiritual exercise) that each one has to perform. This is not the quest for something new. It is to experience what is yours. The entire cosmos is within you.

He did, about 2000 years ago, and people still didn't believe.
Joh 14:8 And Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.
Joh 14:9 Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?

All creation reveals his majesty.! Have you looked up at the night sky? Checked out yourself, and contemplated your wonderfully created body and spirit? Witnessed the birth of a child?
If anyone thinks all this can be birthed from NOTHING...you have MUCH more faith than I do. Nothing created everything? Or something that always existed creating everything? Those are the only two choices you have. And you can't get ANYTHING from "NO-THING". Think about it.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit at the end of John 15, and in the midst of John 16. He said, " My sheep know my voice', and that ties into the expression of God's Spirit is those who trust God.
Jesus said:
17"For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
That's how you make peace with God. So that's why God seems so difficult to locate, He keeps it to Himself until someone begins to trust Him.

Truth is God.
Honesty is perception of Truth.
Perception = Free Will
God is HOW you are able to recognize your reflection or photo when that is the face YOU cannot see for yourself.
Everything you see is God....... it is YOU that you cannot see, therefore God gives you awareness of self.
God is WITH you.... it is HOW you are able to BE you.
Your body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are.
Free Will allows you to imagine you are alone/separate.
Enjoy.

If you were saved,,,you would not be asking this question...He does show himself to us in every way..we have a personal relationship with him...he guides us in all we do. We hear his voice in the scriptures we read,,we hear him deep within our being...we see him in every thing that he created....he is all around if you just look..If I go to the ends of the Earth,,,he is there....he will never leave me nor forsake me....My Father,,,My God,,,and my Savior...
