One hour typically does not affect a person. Such as one hour lost due to travel. However, after getting used to seeing that sun go down later during daylight savings time for so long . . . it affects us. Subconsciously, we see the sun go down and we associate it with going to sleep, therefore, it affects us. Trust me, I want my kids to go to bed NOW!

That's pretty bad. Check this out:
"Why does the time change affect me in such a way that I feel like I'm going into another dimension? Do you feel this way? One hour should not affect the psyche this much, should it?"

The time change even affected your "spelling" too. Ouch!!! You gained an hour of sleep with this time change so you shouldn't feel strange at all. Are you sure you're not coming down with a cold or virus. I feel well rested each morning when I get up, since the time change.
dose=does
efect=effect
sutch=such
im=I'm
damention=dimension
houre=hour
shoud=should
sikie=psyche
a nother= another

But it does! Kind of like "jet lag" when you fly across a few time zones, especially if you travel from USA to England. One hour can make a difference since out bodies get used to a routine. It is like trying to wake up earlier or sleep in later than usual. It gets dark earlier. That alone can be depressing. Forunately many of us adjust to in it a few days. Sometimes I adjust in a day or two to the daylight saving time change. Some years it takes me a month to get back in the groove.
Think about how you might be hungry at lunch time, which in Noon for many of us. How do you feel when you have to wait until 1PM to eat?

Because your Body Clock is out of sync. It takes about three days to re-sync our body clock after we Spring Forward and fall Back. I would love to abolish Daylight Savings Time as we no longer have the need for this waste of energy.
We are now a 24/7 World. Stop Daylight Savings time forever!

I know what you mean I felt like that this morning. I think we need to meditate a little or something. I'm always off for a while with the time change. Plus getting dark early makes me a little sad. Try catching a sunrise or sunset.

In the fall it gives me an extra hours sleep so I dont mind it. Spring time is harder for me to get used to it. Lets face it, I think it affects most of us in some way.
