If it hurts to be touched, I wouldn't recommend osteopathy, which is manipulation. Fibromyalgia is a mysterious disease, that doesn't seem to have any cause or cure at this time. The most you can hope for is something to relieve the pain. I can sympathize with you, because I have it in my neck, shoulders and upper back, in the trapezious muscles. It's chronic pain and stiffness that's better in the morning, but gets progressively worse as the day goes on. Usually it is accompanied by chronic fatigue syndrome, which makes you feel tired all the time. If OTC pain relievers, such as Tylenol, Advil or plain aspirin don't help, see if your doctor can give you something stronger. What helps me sometimes, is just resting. I have trouble bending my neck, and sometimes it feels like my head weighs 50 pounds. I have very long and thick hair, and my doctor said to cut my hair as it is weighing me down, but I really don't think that would solve my problem.

Chiropractors need to cross by way of a full of life four 12 months graduate application very similar to the application scientific medical professionals cross by way of. They need to move the equal technology and anatomy categories that scientific medical professionals need to move. Chiropractic is NOT quite simply bodily remedy. Chiropractors are musculoskeletal gurus that deal with places of the backbone which can be hypomobile, or "caught" if you're going to. They investigate the frame for regulations and use handbook healing to position movement into joints that have to transfer. In doing so, they aid repair the spines correct alignment, phase through phase. The frame is held in combination through the musculoskeletal approach so in an effort to placed correct movement into joints, Chiropractors will most likely participate in a few tender tissue healing and therapeutic massage to relax the muscle groups across the joints. When places of the backbone don't transfer accurately, they don't obtain the correct quantity of vitamins and minerals and blood go with the flow and degenerate at a quicker cost. Chiropractic works seeing that they're educated specialists who deal with the complete frame of regulations and participate in specified, low drive changes into joints. If you consider Chiropractic outcome are "no larger than placebo," you will have to learn a few peer reviewed clinical study journals. For illustration, in a research through Hoirlis et al 2004, "Chiropractic was once extra lucrative than placebo in lowering suffering."
