Being too good for him or her exists in the minds of the individuals.
But sometimes guys get intimidated by beautiful gals, wealthy gals, popular gals, very intelligent gals, tall gals, etc and consider such gals as being above their league.

I suppose he would know if the qualities he possessed didnt measure up to hers. No one is too good for anyone in reality but peoples minds obviously think differently. Someone who thinks themselves to be inferior to someone thinks this because what they have gotten from someone, something so great, they feel they could never give this.

if a boy thinks a girl is to good for him then he is insecure about himself . if he feels that way he will ruin the relationship by always putting himself down and she will feel like shes always having to assure him that he is right for her , the same thing goes for a girl.

no one is "too good" for anyone. of course, if someone is trying to make you think they are too good for you, you're probably better off without them anyway.
