you are about 30 points underweight I am 14 years old I am male and I am about 140. I went to get my physical yesturday and my doctor said that I am overweight by 5 pounds. I am 5'7 though. So, I think you should gain about 20 points and just keep it there.

Normal BMI's are 18.5-24.9, and yours is about 16. I just used an average scale, but it might change a little depending on the rate you exercise and what not. Although, it won't change that much.
Regardless of your age, you are underweight. Not that this is necessarily your fault, unless you are dieting heavily or have an eating disorder. If this is the case, I highly reccommend you find help. It is sad to see people in this condition, as I have seen several of my friends hospitalized from it. :(
However, you may just have a high metabolism, or possibly even a thyroid problem (hyperthyroidism or Graves' disease). My brother had Graves' disease, and throughout high school had a really difficult time gaining weight, but he was never below 100.
If you are worried about it, you should see a doctor.

I would say underweight but I cant see you so I can't say for sure and also you might want to ask a doctor but you could always try lifting weights and gaining muscle which weighs more than fat and will also look better than fat. That will be good either way. Just do eveything naturally and let it take it's time.

yes, I would say you are underweight by most standards. However, there are a lot of variables that play into this... your age, activity, and genetics all play a role.

If your family is thin, then you've probably got nothing to worry about. If you look like a toothpick next to your family, then perhaps you should make an appointment to go and speak to your family doctor who would be able to refer you to a nutritionist.

That depends on what type of body you have.
Whenever I was fourteen, I was 5'10 165 pounds, and I was considered average for my body type.
