right away, instead of waiting? I know there is no God,because, then if waiting for you to serve him, then why wouldn't he wait more after you're dead?

Not all religions believe in hell. In fact many jews and rabbis dont believe in a literal satan or hell, and God gave them the first half of the bible. People interpet scripture without a study of history. Many christians are not aware of the council of nicea and the affect on their bibles. Some disagree with the catholics even though the catholics have largley determined what you do and dont know about Jesus. It's important for you to find your truth.

Kris I just love your questions if only more people would have such an inquiring mind the world would be a much better place. Absolute Love, compassion, goodness, forgiveness, kindness, empathy, equity, utility (equitable distribution of goods), humility, sharing, caring have absolutely nothing to do with hell or evil therefore there is no hell. If you understand Absolute Love then you will embrace absolute forgiveness and in doing so get rid of hell. People do not choose lives of misery and hardship they are generally thrust upon them through genetic or environmental conditioning. If the world is primarily deterministic and causal then people do not create their own realities and cannot be judged. We need jural laws and punishment for misdemeanors that are commensurate with behavior but we don't need to do it brutally or to use capital punishment. I have worked in drug and alcohol rehab, youth affairs, domestic violence, sexual abuse, family dysfunction, service veteran rehab and accommodation and invariably their are a set of causal contingencies that lead to aberrant behavior. They are often mental health issue or the perpetrator was a victim of child abuse and so on. Yes we may have to incarcerate the dysfunctional nevertheless we can do it with some sense of caring. Love and goodness are self evident. Any bully that thinks retribution is a solution does not understand Love.

Because we could claim ignorance. If we were just "created" in hell we would argue, "But I didn't actually do anything wrong! I never had a chance!'. But since you lived, you know what you did wrong. You may not think right now that some things are sinful or that there is a God, but the second you see him you will know you deserve your fate.

As Theologians we must remember we have free will to make our own choices God gives us his mercy and Grace, but if we don't accept the gift then we condem ourselfs. God knows what is in our heart and when we die we are condemed then and is not by God.

See if you can understand what is written here:

16 It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."
18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
(Romans 9 )

He has you here for that purpose, if you have no interest in knowing God. If you do want to know God, that's proof that you are chosen by Him.

Rom 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against Yahweh? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed [it], Why hast thou made me thus?
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Rom 9:22 [What] if Yahweh, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Rom 9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

It's His POT, He does what He wants to with it, WHEN He wants.

Pro 16:4 Yahweh hath made all [things] for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

He did not make them for the day of salvation, but evil. He did a good job, and He just laughs at them as they speak evil of Him.
THey are used as a teaching tool for the vessels of honor. Their end is for destruction, but He suffers through anyway.

Him knowing and someone's doing are separate. The path to hell is walked by the person living a sinful life. He is not sent, he makes the journey himself.

In a way he kind-of does send you there right away in that your left to live the hell here on earth. But you still have time to repent and turn it all around....
