apparently, the first step to getting into heaven is a full frontal lobotomy...

I WILL BE VERY HAPPY BECAUSE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL BE THERE WITH ME., NO DOUBT. MOST SOULS WILL BE THERE. THE ONES THAT DO NOT GO ARE THE ONES, CALLED DARK ENTITIES, THEY ARE THE ONES THAT REALLY TURNED A WAY FROM GOD AND MEANT EVERY BIT OF IT AND THEN SOME.
I HAVE HEARD THAT WHEN THESE DARK ENTITIES DIE OR SOME PREFER TO SAY DROP, THEY GO TO WHAT IS KNOWN AS THE LEFT DOOR. TOTALLY IN GROSS DARKNESS. WHEN THESE GUYS GOT LOST THEY INTENDED TO STAY LOST.
THESE ARE THE ANTI-CHRISTS, LIKE HITLER, CHARLIE MANSON, JACK THE RIPPER, MASS MURDERERS. SOME YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO RUB SHOULDERS WITH HERE LET A LONE ON THE OTHER SIDE. THIS IS WHAT HELL IS, ETERNALLY BANISHED INTO UTTER DARKNESS AWAY FROM THE CREATOR, BY THEIR FREE WILL.

The perception seems hard to understand now. But there on times on earth even now in personal experience. Where it is easy to forget someone we love if only just for a moment.
Whatever happens at death is another dimension of experience. One we cannot comprehend now.
But the understanding of what you say now will come true. Only in an eternal sense. For death to us now seems eternal. Those in heave will forget. Not because we may want to. But because God wants it so. Hell is a place of sin. And God places forgiven sin in a place of eternal forgetfulness.
I will be eternally happy to be with God and his children for forever. That is my choice. God bless.

Those in heaven will not remember those who are in hell, but it is those in hell who will remember. They will remember every Christian, every scripture, and whatever else God used to get the truth to them. They will remember all the mocking and ridiculing of God, the bible and God's people. Luke 16:19-31.
Those in heaven will be there to enjoy the Lord to the fullest without any hindrances.

In all honestly I wouldn't want to share any afterlife myth with many of my rellies likely to end up in the Xian Heaven.
To me this kind of statement is what inspires the negative stereotype of the bible bashing Fundy. The loving Fundy has a genuine fear that they will miss their loved ones and this desire to pressure/harassment is inspired by this fear.

Lokasenna (Now Scarlett) asked a similar question. According to many bible-thumpers, God erases your memory of all your friends and family members that are burning in hell. That way, you dont have to worry about them.
Sounds very sick to me.

Imagine a blind man who never had sight. Imagine the most beautiful sunset you have ever seen. The blind man recieves sight & this sunset is the very first thing he sees. Multiply that feeling by 1000. At what point would you think of anything else?

The wicked are "burned up"..."ashes under our feet". For a biblical example of "eternal fire" check out Jude 7. Eternal fire burns until there is nothing left to burn. Either that or Sodom and Gomorrah are still burning.

I agree with Silvers answer; It seems he will wipe away every tear and our mind sets will be focused only on what is in heaven. There is no sadness, sickness or disease - no more dying there!
