Christianity IS monotheistic. And we go directly to God. There is no need for an intermediary. Christ died to provide direct access to the Father and to provide a way of salvation.

First, not all Christians hold Mary in high esteem. Catholics tend to. Second, no one need go through either Mary or Jesus to get to God. Third, all Christian sects ARE monotheistic, even those that don't believe in the Trinity. You need to do some research before you start asking questions.

Well technically Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are considered one the Trinity. So when we pray to Jesus he is God so we're not going through Him to get to God. He said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no man cometh to the Father except by Me. In a way we kinda of are because no one with sin in their life can have a relationship with God thats why Jesus died on the Cross (paying the penalty for sins which is death )so through Him our sins would be forgiven. I don't understand why people pray to mary when the can pray right to God or why they confess their sins to a priest. No one can get to Heaven through good works, a priest, or mary, its through Jesus Christ only. Sorry if this is confusing!

Jesus was the mediator though which God chose to save us. He sent His Son to die for us so that though Jesus' death we might be saved. Romans 6. Jesus and God are one so it is a monotheistic religion.
The worship of Mary, prayer to Mary, the sinlessness of Mary, nor the deification of Mary was ever talked about in scriptures. It is not even hinted at. That was a false pretense that was leaked into the Church that weakens the faith of many.

No, the following verse documents that Christians pray, or as you put it, "go directly to God":

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; Matthew 27:51

The above veil separated the Holy of Holies from the rest of the temple. Only the high priest was allowed to go behind that veil. He acted as an intercessor between the congregation and God. After the veil was rent, God invited all who will to communicate directly with Him. No intercessor required.

Hon...NO Christian religion requires that you go through Mary to get to God. None. Don't say Catholic because that's not at all true.

I know you're dividing it as if all Christians are Trinitarians, which is also not true. Not all believe in the Trinity. Monothiestic means 'one God' and yes, Christians only believe in one.

CHRIST-ians believe Jesus was the son of God, who died for our sins. If (according to Christian faths) you believe that Jesus Christ suffered and died for your sins, you are CHRIST-ian. Hence the term "Christian". This means Jesus is your SAVIOUR, but not your God.
