That's not really what they concern themselves with... (to my knowledge at least. Scientology puts little if any emphasis on such matters) I mean there's nothing in their mythology or doctrines that you have to believe in any deities. As a result, a lot of Scientologists are atheists, and a lot are theists as well. It's really one of those "it's up to the individual" things.

Scientology doesn't accept the Christian "afterlife" concept, that there is a heaven or hell waiting for us .
In Scientology you dicover that you are your own immortal soul and so you do not die when your body dies, since you are not your body.
This is not a new religious concept .
The idea that man was a spiritual being had been around
for more than 10,000 years before this. Eastern thought, Hindu and later Buddhism , the Ancient Egyptians, the Ancient Greek Philosophers all knew that man was not a one lifetime animal. This is a very recent idea in the Western World and now conveniently used to control people.
As a Scientologist my knowledge , rather than my opinion is that we have lived many lives before this one and that there will be future lives. The key is to achieve a higher state of existence in this current life and to improve the conditions of existence for Mankind and life in general. Since we do come back into and will inherit what we "die" out of.
Gives you a broader perspective on the whole concept
of life and death.

Scientologists believe that a person is a spiritual being of body and mind, when your body dies, your mind gets reincarnated into another human form only. This differs from Buddhism for example, which believes we can be reincarnated into human or animal form depending on karma. This birth, death, rebirth cycle continues for many, many lives and we've had past lives dating back trillions of years. They believe that even a good person becomes "abberated" by pain caused during your life, and when you are reincarnated some of these "abberations" can accumulate and cause mental distress. Through a process called auditing, you can alleviate the pain and distress from those abberations.
That's scientology summed up very briefly.

Scientologists reject the concept of an afterlife, instead believing in reincarnation in which a person passes through a number of lifetimes.
