A certain R&S users goes around telling everyone how Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christians, and are leading people to Satan and how they're all going to go to hell. (He's personally said that to me)

And He's doing what he "thinks is right"

Isn't that so funny how it's just like Paul was doing to the early church...and look what happened to him.

I bet the user will be either a Mormon or JW before he dies. What do you think?

that is quite the bet. I think it would be ironic if he is though. Just to clarify, you are referring to Saul right... ...Paul before he converted?

I like your question & the way you think. If only we could all convert like Paul.
I only know what I have read about JWs & Mormons, I think they are nice people and all, but they go against a lot of my personl ( catholic based) beliefs. Like Mormons break the very first commandment, You should only have 1 God. At least that's what I have read. But hopefully like Paul they will see the light & convert to catholicism like Paul before they die.
I do not think they're going to go to hell because of their beliefs. Everyone wants to believe in the right thing. The desire to do right/good is there. Some R&S users are stupid & go a little overboard with the going to hell thing

You can't change people, only people can change themselves.

It would be ironic, but I doubt it will happen. Just because it happened does not mean it will happen to this individual. There were reasons for Paul being chosen. He was the best student of the best teacher of the Jews. He was sent to go after these Christians. After his conversion, he eventually targeted himself on the gentiles. So you can see how God took the best of the best of the Jews and sent him to the gentiles (those who aren't jewish) . It was like an extra slap.

It might be like sending a Catholic Cardinal out to teach that the Mormons are correct. (rough analogy, I know)

Hey - I believe the Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses are wrong. I do not believe they are CHristians either. But I do not say they are leading others to Satan. I suppose theologically, one could argue this IF
a) you assume only your church is right
b) ALL others are going to hell
but that is a tough view of life. I don't know if everyone else is going to hell.... sure, I believe my faith is the full and correct one - but God is able to save anyone he wants.

And Jesus does not ask us to be hateful and insulting in our discussion of the faith. Heck, talking to people that way would more likely steer them AWAY from your faith. I prefer that old saying
Preach the Gospel daily - use words when necessary.

Trying to use hate/fear to get someone to follow you is not useful.

he's lifeless appropriate. think of approximately it...who's the main hated heel interior the WWE? this is side. who's the guy you're maximum attracted to seeing get his face forcibly readjusted? this is side. And heels entice greater followers than faces. A face desires a staggering heel to be well worth something, yet a heel could be hated without face in sight. So Heyman's appropriate. side is making the business company a lot of money.

Some say that Paul was struck by a bolt of lightening when he fell from his horse. I don't think it was an easy thing.

I see so many people knocking another person's religion in this section. I think it is OK to disagree, but not to ridicule or belittle the persons who have those beliefs.

It is true that Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christians. I don't know about the "going to hell" part though: Only God decides that.
The Trinity is what binds all Christians: Catholics and Protestants alike. JW's belive Jesus was a created being, whic is a form of the old 4th century heresy Arienism

You should keep in mind that Paul was not all that firmly glued together in his dealings with his fellow man. Nor in matters theological.
He set himself up as an 'interpreter' of Christ's message (much as certain neo-Christians are doing nowadays), and managed to spread his own narrow views and his prejudices in the process.

“The son-ship of Jesus Christ is the greatest fiction of human history.” (Lord Bishop of Canterbury Commission, the Spiritual Head of England, 1910.)

“The son-ship of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, the blood sacrifice of the lamb of God, atonement are not the teachings of Jesus. These are all inventions of Saint Paul who never really met Jesus.” (Hastings Rashdall, The Theory of Good and Evil)

“There is strong reason to believe that St. Paul fabricated the belief system of Christianity from Zoroastrian mythology. In order to hide Paul’s plaigerism… Christians burned the library of Alexandria in 390 A.D. Books in that library kept Mithra’s original story of what Pauline Doctrine is an almost exact copy. (George Sarton , Introduction to History of Sciences) ,

"Christianity...[has become] the most perverted system that ever shone on man....Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and imposters led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus." --- Thomas Jefferson

"Initially there were 34 gospels that were compiled by word of mouth. Four were chosen for unclear reasons and 30 were left behind [burned]. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

St. Paul had an edge alright, that edge was his faith and love for Jesus and to bring everyone he could to the lord. Nothing was to much trouble for him, he would go the the depths of hell to pull you or I out. He loved the lord.
