It's for a 5-9 year old boy. I've got 4 mini dub city cars, a coloring book, crayons, pencils, erasers, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, playing cards, mints and gum......

I love the idea of the kids getting a box of goodies, but I'm a little worried that the kids are forced to basically renounce their parents' religion and accept Christ just to get the toys. I'd rather give, no strings attached. Do a google search on it and you can see evidence of what goes on.

But, it is great that you are giving. In Australia we don't do a letter, but I think it's a lovely idea. I think a photo would be fantastic and a few words about who you are and where you live. Nothing that sounds like "I'm so blessed and well off and life is fantastic". More like "Where we live has lots of trees and it snows in winter" type of thing.

Tell him something about you, your life & where you live. Include a photograph of the town or city where you live, then he can look on a globe or map & see where the gift came from.
I have nevere heard of Operation Christmas Child, what is it?
GREAT for volunteering!

Jesus loves you this I know, for the Bible tells me so..... Also being Praying for your child and pray a blessing on him or her, The Love of Jesus is unconditional and so is yours for your child. ... And I love what you are doing, my church is doing this to. Great ministry!!!
