IWe are 4 cats in the family, I am the boss. My female human cat-slave will insist on giving the other cats tuna to eat and cream to drink , not all the time, but too often than I think is good for them. And being young, they still don't know what is good for them, not that everyone doesn't deserve an occasional treat [ mine are mouses and chickens].. Well, I'd love to hear what you think!
Loving purrs to you all!

I am Tsunami that is yorkie and let me say this. first of all cats that drink cream its not too good for them. its milk products and not for cats their milk is very different and it should be givingthem direaha. they are meat eaters and therefore if you buy cat food for them either dry or wet you need to make sure the first ingredient is meat that name has to be first or you are getting pure fat or cereal products and its not that great. chicken is their frist love so you can also buy chicken parts and boil them and pick it off bones now and then for treat for them mix with dry food and wet down abit keep in refrig. that is best for them take care. for now woofing to all.

Tuna and cream on occasion are fine treats for healthy cats. I would take those over more heavily processed treats. Some cats can drink cream without difficulty. It depends on the cat.

I think chicken (cooked plain) is good. I have never heard of anyone cooking mice (rats, yes, but not mice) so they must be eaten raw.

Very bad for cats too eat such rich food. Especially the cream!!!! Lots of cats cannot tolerate it. She should give an occasional teaspoon of plain yogurt for a milk treat. And only a little bit of tuna. Dry food is best for most kitties, using a type geared toward that particular cat's needs. Kitten food for kittens, indoor food for indoor cats, etc.

Tuna is fine but not all of the time. maybe mix it with some regular dry cat food and milk really isn't good for you. i know it good but its just not good for cats. Just drink water.

My bunch gets tuna on very rare occasions. I make sure they don't eat any foods that are the list of toxic foods for cats.

too much tuna is actually poisonous to cats. They develop something called yellow fat disease from it. Also, cats do not have the necessary acids in their digestive tract to handle dairy foods and it can give them terrible belly aches and/or diarrhea.

I think that your human slave would do best to restrict that to just a treat now and then. Or even buy some special treats. Glad you are keeping up on your 'family'.

meow. stick to a natural cat food. since some cats are allergic to milk and fish, and it slowly can kill you. and we dont want that. purrs back!
