My grandmother is from tahiti, she moved to NZ when she was 17, she has now passed but when she was alive my uncle was able to obtain a french/tahitian passport, my question is am i and or my mother able to obtain a french/tahitian passport, and are you still able to have dual passports these days, we have all the paper work etc, i havent had luck looking for information thanks

thanks for your answer, i was born in nz so was my mother and father, but granmother tahitian, so am unsure if that would affect descion

Present your birth certificate to apply for a passport and it is indicated thereon whether you are a French, Tahitian or with dual citizenship.
