No, you can not file until your employer sends your W-2 or 1099 whatever your tax status may be. Employers are not required to send the form until late January or Early February. If you are self-employed you probably would not be asking this question.

No, you cannot. The final forms are not ready yet, they're just being finalized right now for the mass mailing after Thanksgiving. You cannot submit a return until after January 1, 2008. It doesn't matter that you don't expect to have any more income. What's more, the W-2s and 1099s won't be out until sometime in January so even if you had the forms now and knew the numbers you couldn't file until you had those in hand, at least the W-2s anyway.

Last year i took my first pay check stub of Dec. to h and r block and i filed early. You still have to come back when you receive your w-2 but that is as early as i have heard of. They just project what you will make in Dec. which will be nothing for you but that is how they do it. They only give you a certain amount not the whole refund with out the w-2.

No, you can't file yet. Forms aren't available yet, and the IRS doesn't accept filings until January. Also, if you worked as an employee, you won't have your W-2 until January or early February, and you need that to file.
