does your body naturally try to stay at that point and try to prevent you from gaining/losing weight? i am 17, 5'3, and like 107-109 pounds and sometimes i probably eat less then i should but i don't lose weight. is that because my body is trying so hard to keep the weight on? like if i was overweight and was eating less then i should i would lose weight right?

In theory yes but continuing to do that to your body can cause it to start to pack on the weight do to placing your body into starvation mode then it wants to convert everything to fat and energy stores

Yes. Your body has what is called a set point. If you eat less, your metabolism will slow down to keep you from losing weight. This is why you have to combine diet with exercize. Either one alone will not do it.
