Does anyone else feel relieved? After reading so many "Christians,
How come...? questions...
There may be some that can understand that not all Christians are the same, and not all of us interpret the Bible the same, or follow the same worship service practices the same?

Thank you everyone! i KNEW not all Athiests where the same or believe the same just as I knew that is true of Christians as well. So when I see questians addresses like this:
Why is it, in the religious questions, there tends to be more thumbs down than thumbs up?
I thought religious people were meant to "love others..."
tsk tsk!

I resent the implication and blanket accusations. I have never made blanket accusations towards others and I hope those who do (Not all of any group- just those who do) will use more discretion with the questions posted.

Gerry the quote "..."Not all Atheists are the same, and not all of us believe the same." is not my words but that of a self proclaimed athiest. But you have every right to your own opinion. If they are all the same to you that is what they are to you. 8:)

of course you all ain't the same. some of you activly force your religion on us, and some of you can live and let live. atheists do the same thing to you (substitute religion for lack there of).

We're not all the same just like not all Xians are the same. In fact the only truly unifying thing about atheists is that they don't believe in any kind of deity. Beyond that it's an absolute free for all.
I think it was Robert A. Heinlein who said it best when he said, "trying to get atheists to agree on something is like trying to herd cats". The idea is we simply don't agree on every principle.

Atheists are a diverse people, just like Christians are. The one thread that ties all atheists is that they don't believe in God. And the one thread that ties all Christians is that they do believe in God. After that, no one is the same. Every one has their own belief, or non belief, for their own reasons. So as individuals, all people are different, atheists and Christians alike.

Well it's true-everyone interprets the Bible differently but I know it's a fact that anyone who believes that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, suffered and died on the cross for our salvation, and resurrected, is a Christian.

Why? Do you believe all Christians are the same and all believe the same way? look at the division between is Jesus the son of god or is god.
Well, I see by the rest of your question you don't. Which makes me question why you would believe that all atheists were the same in the 1st. place!

That's why i quit going to church all together. that and the fact when "one of the supposed pillars of the community" ,his wife, and his kids attend church, preaching about the ones who he deems unsuited for his ideal society in line with that of god's. But is banging some gal (not his wife)out by a lake 18 miles from where he lives. yea ...........

This is not news to me...
Friends of mine are proof that all people are different, that Christian religions are different, that people come in different degrees of mentality...from the basic normal belief to the complete loonytoon...

Atheism is atheism. No God...or rather no god. Period. How can there be variations of something that simple?
